I was watching Silicon Valley (watch it) and there was this whole ‘Tabs vs Spaces’ part. It was pretty funny. I’ve sat through many tab vs spaces arguments. Here’s my two cents, using code from another blog post:

Spaces

class GrailsVerticle extends Verticle {
    public GrailsVerticle() {
        vertx.createHttpServer()
            .websocketHandler(
                new Handler<HttpServerRequest>() {
                    public void handle(HttpServerRequest req) {
                        String path = req.path().equals("/") ? "index.html" : req.path();
                        req.response().sendFile(httpFilePath + path);
                    }
                })
            .listen(8000, "127.0.0.1");
    }
}

Tabs

class GrailsVerticle extends Verticle {
		public GrailsVerticle() {
				vertx.createHttpServer()
						.websocketHandler(
								new Handler<HttpServerRequest>() {
										public void handle(HttpServerRequest req) {

												String path = req.path().equals("/") ? "index.html" : req.path();

												req.response().sendFile(httpFilePath + path);
						}
				})
				.listen(8000, "127.0.0.1");
		}
}
